The problem

Vantrixa is an AI market analyst app: 5 AI stock picks every morning, real-time alerts, a bull and bear case in one tap, and live prices, earnings, and headlines across TSX and US markets, plus crypto.

It started as a vibecoded prototype built by a non-technical founder — and the prototype could not do the job it promised. The UI and theme were inconsistent, there was no proper architecture, and there were security issues in Supabase.

Worst of all, it could not integrate real live market data — for crypto, stocks, or anything else. An analyst app that cannot show live data is a demo, not a product.

What I did

I rebuilt it with a scalable architecture, so the app can keep growing without being rewritten again.

I integrated the real live market data — stocks, crypto, prices, earnings, headlines — so the morning picks, the alerts, and the bull and bear cases all run on live numbers.

And the rest of the prototype's problems went with the rebuild: a consistent UI and theme throughout, and the Supabase security issues fixed.
